Since Grameen Bank’s operation spread over throughout the country in the 90s, In consequence, it had been juggling with managing a multitude of transactions; the need to solve this problem brought forth Grameen Communications (GC). With several years of extensive research & analysis of all the activities of Grameen Bank, GC developed a software named gBanker, which brought a breakthrough in making microcredit operations more effective and efficient. gBanker is currently being used in more than 5000 branches of 135 MFIs including Grameen Bank.
